RDS - Regenerative Dynamometer Systems
The Motomea RDS are full turnkey systems, which fully implement
standards IEC 60034-2-1, CSA_C390, IS 12615, and IEEE 112. The scope of
the RDS is comprised of: AC induction servomotors as loading motors with
high-resolution encoders, high-accuracy torque sensors, integrated
power analyzers, and temperature measurement modules by milliohm meters
and/or thermocouples.
Motomea RDS provides energy recovery benefits, and the multi-drive
common bus configurations can reduce input power requirements for
applications where an AC dynamometer is used for the prime mover and
absorber.
